Monterey Fire Department - Large Scale Drill
posted about 3 years ago by StephanieHarris from Community Emergency Response Volunteers of the Monterey Peninsula
The Monterey Fire Department is coordinating a large scale drill at the Monterey Airport with numerous other first responder agencies on Tuesday, May 17. The drill will begin at 1:30 PM and will be done by 4:00.
This drill is required every three years by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to test the Airport's Emergency Plan and will also test the County's Multi-Casualty Incident Plan. The drill will also involve more than 50 volunteer actors playing the role of victims of a simulated aircraft crash and fire.
