Monterey Museum of Art at 559 Pacific Street has free admission for August 6 and 7. They will instead ask visitors to donate to the The Community Foundation for Monterey County (CFMC) Soberanes Fire Fund.

Robert Oliver Reagen III, 35, of Friant, a bulldozer operator fighting the Sobranes Fire, died during night operations on Tuesday, according to Cal Fire.

We have had 51 people/organizations offering to donate food, clothing, furniture, and more. Fantastic! We're working with Big Sur Fire Station and staying in touch with the MCOES to identify any distribution sites for in-kind donations. We'll be in touch.
