Many people/restaurants have offered to cook and deliver food to our firefighters. According to the Monterey County Office of Emergency Services, CAL Fire is unable to accept food donations (law). These men and women DO, however appreciate your many kind offers.

Housing Needs. Smoke abatement Equipment (masks, hepa filters, etc.) - Family of 5 with 2 asthmatics. Health risks. Need housing - Woman with 2 cats with mild disability. Evacuated. Needs 2 bedrooms for 1 month. - Tassajara region being impacted by smoke. Need particulate masks, hepa air filters, plastic sheeting.

Cal Fire incident report calfire states that 20 homes were lost. So many people are being impacted. Monterey Recovers is now receiving donations.

Nice people are offering basic hygiene items, toys, and even a room in someone's home.
