Robert Oliver Reagen III, 35, of Friant, a bulldozer operator fighting the Sobranes Fire, died during night operations on Tuesday, according to Cal Fire.

We have had 51 people/organizations offering to donate food, clothing, furniture, and more. Fantastic! We're working with Big Sur Fire Station and staying in touch with the MCOES to identify any distribution sites for in-kind donations. We'll be in touch.

Many people/restaurants have offered to cook and deliver food to our firefighters. According to the Monterey County Office of Emergency Services, CAL Fire is unable to accept food donations (law). These men and women DO, however appreciate your many kind offers.
