The West End Celebration Timeless Event will help raise money for Soberanes Fire Relief. Volunteers needed for this Saturday, Aug. 27, Sand City. We need 8-10 volunteers to move chairs from the Main Stage over to 440 Ortiz Ave, at 4:30pm; and then back again to Main Stage at 9:30pm.

The SPCA for Monterey County has free pet food and supplies available to anyone affected by the Soberanes Fire. Please contact us at info@spcamc.org, by calling 831-373-2631, or by visiting our shelter at 1002 Monterey-Salinas Highway across from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. It's all free and available for you.

Recovers Squad has met 50 % of needs. Working hard on others. Mostly requests for housing.

Housing Needs. Smoke abatement Equipment (masks, hepa filters, etc.) - Family of 5 with 2 asthmatics. Health risks. Need housing - Woman with 2 cats with mild disability. Evacuated. Needs 2 bedrooms for 1 month. - Tassajara region being impacted by smoke. Need particulate masks, hepa air filters, plastic sheeting.
