FarmLink provides educational programming, individual technical assistance and financial resources to farmers and fishers to support their business resilience. Given their dependence on natural resources to operate their businesses and their vulnerability to climate change and natural disasters, we see disaster preparedness and recovery as a critical part of our mission. One of the organization's strategic plan goals is to ensure equitable access to opportunities to lead in climate adaptation, and to resources for disaster recovery. As a result, we align our programmatic and loan product offerings to support these outcomes. For example, based on need and resource availability, we offer workshops on disaster preparedness and recovery, provide individual technical assistance in navigating applications to disaster recovery programs (state and federal in particular), low-to-no interest loans for disaster recovery, and loan forgiveness. These are the types of resources that we would share on the Recovery Hub, although they may not be limited solely to these types of resources.
