About

MontereyCo.Recovers.org is monitored by multiple organizations and agencies to help meet the needs of the community members throughout the county. It is currently being managed by Community Emergency Response Volunteers of the Monterey Peninsula, a local non-profit. CERV's mission is to support CERT (community emergency response team) programs and promote PERT (personal emergency response training). We value everyone's participation in building our community's resilience together.

The Long Term Recovery Group of Santa Cruz County was formed in response to the devastating 2020 CZU Complex Lightning Fire as a collaboration of agencies and organizations that provided coordination of recovery services to the individuals, families, and communities that were adversely impacted by the CZU Fire. We are now a 501c3 nonprofit organization and have launched a volunteer rebuild program to bring disster impacted families home. sccltrg.org admin@sccltrg.org
