MontereyCo.Recovers.org is monitored by multiple organizations and agencies to help meet the needs of the community members throughout the county. It is currently being managed by Community Emergency Response Volunteers of the Monterey Peninsula, a local non-profit. CERV's mission is to support CERT (community emergency response team) programs and promote PERT (personal emergency response training). We value everyone's participation in building our community's resilience together.

Last night a massive fire on Cassanova Avenue injured several and displaced more than 80 senior residents. Fire Department, The Red Cross, county agencies, and other volunteer groups are responding. This site can help more of us to make a difference. Stay tuned!
