The Monterey County Sheriff's Office issued an evacuation order for all areas west of 3800 Palo Colorado Road to Highway 1 and south to Bixby Creek as a wildfire along the Big Sur coast grows to 1,500 acres with only 5% contained. Learn more here:

And thanks to ALL the firefighters and others who are fighting the the Willow Fire. Our information is that although no containment is reported, the fire did not grow yesterday. No structures impacted or threatened at this time. We've had no requests for help from anyone evacuated yet.
